hey on my next biz trip i won't be able to fit my jam box in my suitcase. is there an issue with just carrying it on board like any other piece of personal luggage?

Shouldn't be a problem... I've traveled on plane with a boombox before. Kinda funny seeing people's reactions, too.

I would not take any boombox on a plane that I would not consider "disposable" or at least "replaceable" Who knows to what level they will "inspect" your boombox....

Interesting... I plan on taking my Technisonic Conion TC-999 to Toyko next year but still haven't figured out if I should ship it or carry it. :-/

I'm still not sure if I'd have the balls to take a radio as carry on luggage, If it doesn't fit under the seat in front of you, it's going in the over head bin and if there is turbulence, it's getting banged up
