well there both empty boxes, and ive only heard a j1 once and i would say there about the same j1 might have a lil more bass but not much :sin:

so... is there anyone out there with both jumbo and 975 that could do a compare of the 2 ?? is the jumbo better sounding than the 975 ?? i`de love to know..

Never heard a J1 but the 975 is a very nice sounding big black empty box.
I actually prefered it to the 931 I had, it had a somewhat bigger and fuller sound.

i`m not sure yet but i may deal with someone in uk with a 975 for my jumbo,i`m a bit torn at the moment,because they are both a kool box,i dont know what i`de prefere,thats why i`m asking peeps on here..

My opinion on looks or impressiveness is the J1 wins however never having seen one in person I can only speculate. Neither are high quality but I suspect they are built to a similar standard. When it comes to price there doesn't seem to be much difference.

I think you really need some input from members who have had their hands on both.
