I've Waited A While For This......

O.K, I've only been collecting for about 18 months or so now and my focus has been very much on "must haves" as opposed "there's a boombox, gotta buy it". Ever since I started collecting there was one boombox that I just HAD to have.

It is classed as a grail I guess but it is far from an M90 but for me it is THE ONE. Anyway, one morning back in October, lazily surfing the forum a quick chat popped up from Peter (blasterpunk). I had never made contact with him before but I was aware of his collection. He casually asked me if I was still looking for a Rising 20/20?

HHHHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLL YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, after a few emails and pics the deal was done. It took forever to arrive, predominantly because of restrictions from shipping out of Germany, however, it has arrived.......

Packed to perfection and in mint condition. I know Peter has received a bit of stick recently about communication but if you want an incredible boombox, superbly packaged and for an honest price he is the man to deal with. It might take a while to get to you but i'd far sooner that than get a badly packed, wrongly described piece of rubbish.

Congratulations!! The Continental version is pretty rare as you might have guessed. The real beauty of these boomboxes is how easy they are to work on. And, yeah, there's the chrome bumpers.

I'm a big fan of the Continental Elephant too. Makes it stand out from the Rising & AKAs.
