A lot of people dont like the cassette tapes, but I have to say,
at 25c to $1.00 for a full album, I'm having one heck of a good time!

I'm picking up bands that I couldn't afford before, and listening to songs that were never played on the radio, and never made it "digitally" into youtube etc.

Each generation has a 'sound'. and I've noticed that songs that are too 'heavy' on that sound are the ones that may not make it to radio, cd, etc. However, those are often
the most interesting. :-)

So I will continue this adventure and see what I can dig up. Every cassette find is a journey into the past, and has been quite interesting.

Plus, the music on the cassettes hasn't been so compressed that an entire song is the same volume from beginning to end. :-)

I hate dolby as well  .

I'm running a tape player through a pioneer rg-1 processor and it lifts the highs a little, making cassettes sound a bit better, in my opinion.
