By the "CFD" most of you probably know that it's a Sony I'm talkin' about... you're right!
The bad news is that Sony decided this specific model... (brief interruption for the pic)

...that was launched exactly a month ago in Japan,
is to be THE LAST Sony boombox with cassette deck in it... :'-(

It was also launched as CFD-A110TV back in '03, but they re-launched now it without the TV station option I guess.

Hell no if they were all sealed i would be a milion are no thats my coplete collection origionals and all.... EG I was given about 300 tapes just over 2 months ago

This date will certainly be a milestone (and bad) in Sony's history.But I think we all knew it would come.It seems cassettes have slipped totally into the world of the collector/enthusiast.I miss the days when everything was visually mechanical.You don't really see a spinning CD and data is...well...just data.

btw: there will be built boxes with tape for a long time, but nearly all in eggshape and less quality from noname brands... :'-(
