Well, just went out to get some last minute candy just in case some friendly gremlins come a knockin. Normally the wife does the candy shopping. This was the first time for me.
Damn, we may be in a recession but the way the candy was flying off the shelves today, you wouldn't know it. It was a literal zoo in almost all the stores we went to. Amazing. If only everyday could be Halloween, we could solve our economic crisis stat! I mean, at the Target store, a lady was busy shoveling the candy bags onto the shelves as people were all lining up to snatch them, almost like you see at the costco stores lining up for the free snack sample handouts. I haven't seen that type of frenzy in a long time. Incredible.
