ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) DELAY

It is so annoying to see a shipment from overseas get stuck for weeks at this ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS).

It is one boombox I bought from Italy. Seller shipped it on Feb 10th and was stuck at ISC from Feb 16th.

I guess this is happening a lot lately. ISC is the International Service Center, where international mail packages enter the US. If it is stuck there and not moving, it is at Customs, in queue to be inspected. Have patience. Coast Steve was worried as well and might have jumped the gun on getting a refund, but keep in mind that customs are slow. As long as you weren't expecting a shipment of Mangoes, it shouldn't spoil right?

I just hope you get a patient agent who will unwrap and carefully re-wrap it. Not like the one that inspected my M90 by taking a box cutter to the bubble wrap like a sword. Swoosh!

I've bought several from overseas and got them pretty fast.
In most cases it was stuck only like 4 days at the most with ISC NEW YORK.
Even the boxes from Korea was never stuck there for more than say 3 to 4 days.
I am so curious to see that RR3000 in real life.

Only a sample is chosen for customs inspections. Don’t know the actual number but if it’s 1 in 10, then that means you might receive 9 Boomboxes & skirt inspection. So it’s no wonder when the tenth gets delayed that all panic breaks out. If the sample is smaller, like 1/100, then you are really lucky(inverse) to get chosen, like a mini lotto.

I need to sit tight and not look every time on the shipping progress.
I have no patience!

There was a time I saw the box on the front door, and the very same morning there were no updates from USPS.

My latest box from Peter is a Aiwa CS880E.
It took almost 45 days to get from Germany to me here in Wisconsin.
Most of that was spent in New York I'm assuming customs......

What happens when Usps tracking doesn't update for days? If your tracking details are not updating for days, then you should give a call to the USPS officials and ask them about your package. They will give you all the information you need.
Or
This means that the item is possibly still in the plane, train or automobile (this reference may be lost on some), that it was put on for transport. It also can mean several other things. It can mean its been offloaded, but not processed yet.

Call USPS? You seem to live in a fantasy world- after an hour of hold they'd tell you they can only speak to sender. Since you are recipient, you are out of luck.
