There is a sharp 777z with this description on ebay: Does $350 sound right for this? Is the broken / replaced "nipple" a reason not to buy it?
Here is a HUGE-Back In The Day "Holy Grail" used boombox. Very popular in the 80's. It's certainly not perfect but in damn good condition for it's age. The am/fm band sounds great and the music comes through LOUD and clear. I could not detect any static in the controls especially the volume. The VU meters and nightime light work fine. The bass, treble, balance and super bass controls work perfect. Radio kicks loud with insane bass response! The speakers are original and in excellent condition. No rips, tears and barely any dust. Bass speakers soft chrome middle is perfect and without dents. The battery compartment is clean and I am listening to it now with batteries. Batteries not included. It takes 10 D batteries. I also have the power cord (not original) and will include. Frame is in good condition without any cracks however there are signs of minor edge wear along with some minor scratches here and there. Both cassette decks play fine including ff/rw but may need to be eventually cleaned. Nipple on cassette deck 1 broke off however is was substituted and loading the cassettes is still somewhat easy but not perfect and needs a firmer push to shut. Deck two is fine. When decks are closed they are perfectly aligned. Both antennas are intact. Some of the chrome behind the dashboard switches shows wear but the lettering and numbers are perfectly visible. No dents on the speaker grilles.
