Actually back in 2005 I opened a new eBay account under Billsaquaticspecialties because I had started a new business to build aquarium stands and canopies...

I still have account but haven't used it in years!!!

But problem I see is paying $25 to refurbish but it doesn't say it's gonna cost extra. Now I wouldn't send any of my boxes to someone I don't know :-/

That's not the first time that guy has offered that service. But probably using his old alias since his account is new.

the guy may not return your boombox it may be a scam who knows
$25 seems way to cheap.
i would be real careful of doing that
& he has no feedback

Somebody here at Boomboxery should do this service for members only.
That way we know we could trust.
I have a couple of boxes that I would like to hear again for sure.

:agree: I second that. Would be great to know if anyone HERE on the site offers that service. Cleaning / repair / etc. I'm not great with electronics, just love listening and looking at 'em.

ps. I'm brand new here, this is my first post.

Have an old JVC pc55 That I bought 27yrs ago. Still right by my bed. Best thing I ever bought. Just never gets any play anymore. ...been meaning to either take it apart and clean the knobs and contacts etc, or find someone locally who will do it for me. LA, CA.
