Is a near mint 9/10 Sharp GF-777 worth this?

There is a guy locally (within a 4 hour drive) who wants $350 cash or a ps2 with 20 games in trade for his near mint gf 777.

I am wondering if it's worth my ps3 Mint out of box only played for 3 hours on july 3, 2007 (my b-day the day I got it and became bored), and worth a 4 hour trip :hmmm: I may offer my PS3 a 20" phillips flat screen tube tv (came with my PS3 on my Bday in 07) and a hand shake. Don't know yet. But I am reallllllllllllllllly thinking about it :hmmm:

maybe my ps2, tv. and $50 cash?

$350 for a GF-777, especially a near mint one, is certainly reasonable.

Let's put it this way. In 5 years, the GF-777 will likely be worth MORE than you paid.
In 5 years, your PS might be worth $20 at the thrift store. You've been there, done that with the PS. Now get a permanent value retaining solution.

found it! out of 10 or so. I will call from work in the morning :-) Very professional touch to call from the managers office at arbys :-P ;-) I hope to wheel and deal- $100 cash with TV and Ps2 or 3

Hold on to your PS3 or sell it separately on ebay or C-list. thats 300 bones right there with accessories and games.
The guy said he wants a PS2, give him a ps2 + cash. you can use the TV to sweeten the deal. Don't show the guy all your cards just yet.
You give up the PS3 and cash, I would think he is getting the better deal. IMHO. ;-)

I want to hear this story end with you negotiating a kick ass deal for yourself. Go get em'! :cool:

I always tell myself that but almost never follow through :lol: PS2+Cash=See where it gets me. then add on my 20" Flat tube Hope that does the trick :-) I may not have 20 ps2 games but with my ps2 and $100 he can buy a lot of used ps2 game with $100 (more than 20 :-P )

i dont know bout where you live but i could head to the value village right now and leave with twenty ps2 games for about a hundred bucks plus tax.
so if you already got the ps2 then it should be a pretty easy decision.
personally if i saw this add i would think about trading my ps2 and games.
i dont think trading him a ps3 is a good deal.
i mean i am with masterz on that one.

My ps3 is safe....for now :devil: :smooch: :-)

Don't blame you, if that's your limit then don't do it but for those who are willing that's a very good buy. No it's not a steal but it's not like you can go get one in person and near mint for $350.
