Ira' s junker SCR-8

I traded a crappy piece of junk Sanyo for this junkpile Realistic SCR-8.
I think I got duped........ :annoyed:
Just kidding,it is just about mint and I took it totally apart and gave it a really good cleanup. The cassette wasn't working so I fixed it. Now it works and sounds great. It is a twin to the GE Blockbuster,but I like the sound of the SCR-8 a little better,it's not as muddy. (IMHO).

The SCR-8 is a hard box not to like even with it's muted styling and yours looks beautiful Skippy.

i have a semi-beater scr-8 and am getting some replacement speakers from norm

i know that model is not one of the 'famous' big deal sanyo collector boxes-
but it is TO ME !!!!!
its small -- it sounds big --its got lots of controls and inputs , etc, etc

so...........let me say THANKS to skippy for his usual great packing, right away shipping --

yea it will, they seem a bit related, both have the green hue to the deck faceplate and classic simple styling. I wish that would get there already!
