Just an FYI to anyone that may be interested in picking up the Innovative Technologies boombox. Kohl's now has them on sale in the stores and on the website for $49.99. I didn't want it at the original price but for $49.99 it seems well worth it. I like a few features on it. Especially how it will hold my Iphone and Itouch but I wish it was bigger and louder. Although it seems that distortion is minimal even at it's loudest setting. Sound is not awesome but still not too bad for full range speakers. Still it doesn't look too bad and the price is right. Check it out very soon if you are interested as I don't know how long this price will last.

I was thinking ,"What kind of lame-assed boombox could Kohl's possibly have?", but that doesn't look half bad! I think I may have a store credit at Kohls. :-D

Wow I didn't even know that existed.

That would make a cool christmas gift for both of my teenagers!

Thanks for posting this!

My wife got me one a few weeks ago for my birthday. It's pretty nice and very practical. Good battery life. Works well with rechargables. OK sound, not great, but I goes loud enough that family complains.
The woofers are fakey, in that the grill is much bigger than the speaker.

The blinking led meters are crazy bright. I mean seriously put on some shades or you will have a seizure.

I think the radio is a little weak, but I have not tested it to much. But it's got a short antenna.

Could make for a very nice project box. Upgraded full sized speakers for one. The box is fairly deep so there should be plenty of room. And the outside is mostly a large blank canvas to be filled.

Innovative had plans for two other versions. I think I remember one was black with gold. They used to have a catalog on their site, but I can't find it now. Curiously this boombox is not currently shown either.

Yes they are bright. You can use it as a nightlight if you have it plugged up.
