I've been playing Streetsounds Electro through my GF777 most of the day at work.
A colleague wandered up & asked: "...that thing there looks loud, how loud does it go?"

heh, time for some fun.

I put on AC/DCs You Shook Me All Night Long (boomers always shout louder with rock & metal), & maxed it.
Even I was a bit surprised by quite how much racket it made without distorting.
He had his answer & was duly impressed & I also had a bit of fun.

...excellent :-)

There a damn loud box paul in all honesty the m90 aint much louder, if you put some real tweeters in there i recon it would be about the same, im lucky i have a damn fine example of the 777 and all channels are equal on mine.

None of that weak channel spit on mine, it's probbly louder than my 1000 mind u that can blart it out also.

Good to see you showing your comrades an old worldy peice of kit (not crappy ipods) good show ol chap.

Btw 1 of my dd9's went into a sony service centre today :-) 40 quid just to book it in :hmmm: but there is hope.

I'd say my Clairtone(C100F) , Fisher 492 & Sharp 919 are by far my loudest screamers. 3 way tie for loudness.

indeed. My demo was with one of the bass channels low. I need to take it to bits & fix it ( & those damn idler wheels too)

That's the one thing people are impressed with. They may snicker when they see my living room stacked with "80's" boxes, but once they hear the sound, they are literally blown away. Out of the M90, GF777z, and 492, the M90 actually makes my ear hurt when I blast it.

The GF-777 does indeed get loud rather quickly. I wish they had more treble though. ;-)
