Thanks for the info FD :-)

It looks nice and Big for a Mono but i havent scored it yet.
The seller just sent me those pics . it needs a change of transformer
as its 110v japanese only model. The M-2448 Is its Worldwide equivalent i guess.

I always look at the size of the cassette deck to evaluate the size of the speaker and over all unit and your right, that thing looks sizeable for a Mono. I hope you score it and post more information on this.

I would like to know what those 5 holes are on the top right. They look like a VU meter! It does say "LED Operation Indicator". That would be freaking SWEET!

A proper bass and treble set up too!

The Step down transformer works properly and i wanted to share some pics for other members
to recognize what it looks like.
This one in particular has a european plug,
it transforms the current from 220V to 110 V.(Thanks to member Sotza from stereo2go.com for the advice on this matter)
I can always use the DC-IN with 12v for this one. I like my boombers as original as possible,
so it was a relief to know that nobody had messed with the insides of this Mono!

PS: It s a Coaxial Unit and in my eyes it seems like the brother of Stereo Sanyo M-9970 which is also Coaxial.
Maybe Sanyo released them the same year. Which i guess it is the late 70s judging by the looks. Possibly 1979.

The leds above the Coaxail Speaker which is 8 inc btw indicate Power -Sound Level-Record-Tuning and internal Mic.
