Found this forum on my never-ending quest of disassembling things and consequences of that. There is a number of victims in various states of disassembly currently sitting on my work bench waiting for their day, but the lucky one today is Lasonic TRC-975, and this is how i got here.

I was first introduced to the Soviet market about a year before AKAI GXC-570d, so i got that going for me. Imported to US in mid-90's. Have about a lifetime of experience getting into things that run off of electricity and/or have wheels. And let me tell you, I shouldn't have gotten into those things as the level of my understanding of electronics is as deep as a piece of printer paper folded in half. 25 years of Unix/Linux experience aka "computer guy" and about 20 years as a repetitive electronic music DJ. So, if you need a techno or a drum&bass mix to shut the always barking neighbors dog with or someone to somewhat explain wtf is going on in all those dash cam videos from Russia, I got you.
