Hey Bros!!!

I'm Strānj-Bōōmbŏks, I'm from Santiago de los Caballeros de Mérida, Venezuela (somewhere up in the Andes Mountains) I'd like to put myself at your orders and be friends here and in the meantime collect the most Strangest-Looking Boomboxes I can get my hands on!

My collection is not very big right now, but along with trying to look for "normal" boxes, I want to try and get the strangest, weirdest, craziest lookin' boxes or "off-brand" boxes (how do you say it?)

Apart from my personal grail Riviera PST-1010 (I've owned since 1988) I just started collecting (September 2009), so that's why I don't have that many. It's very hard to find boxes here in Mérida, and even harder if I like mostly the strange-looking ones!

I'll leave you with this picture I took today of my mini Kasuga KC-66FS in the top picture it looks like it plays CD's... but on the bottom picture the truth is revealed... BabOOMBAAA!!! Lounge-Party Time!!! It plays LP's! Hahahaha... it's a crazy little box! Everything works perfect, but soon I'll be giving it some deep cleaning and a paint job.

I'll be back soon with some more pictures of the Kasuga and my other boxes soon!

I was looking at a post that you did on the member countries, and I seem to be the first one from Venezuela? And there are a couple of friends from Brasil and one from Argentina if I'm not mistaken right? That's cool... I hope they are in touch!
