Hi everyone. My name is Scott and I am new to Boomboxery. I iown the JVC RV-NB 50 Kaboom and I also used to own the JVC RV-NB 10. The NB 50 is getting all this hate, but really it is pretty awesome machine. I'm 36, married and I have a five year old daughter.

we have plenty of kaboom lovers --for the older models -

as for the #50 --i think we have no haters
however one of our members did an extensive comparo of the 50 vs this new altec box --
and he said the altec was better in many ways -

also member hemiguy has displayed his altec to several members -
and we all were shocked over its very high power to size ratio

welcome to the site..... yes the kaboom i used to have the nb10 i belive thats the model but i settled for the the dp-100 its the older with the drum pads they are great boxes especialy in the bass department

Hi Scott,

Watch out for those South Florida guys...they hate any boxes that don't have wood in them.
So get some wood and put it in your battery compartment, and you'll be safe from them.
