The Hitachi 8600 is a desireable box but not a high dollar box, prices are so random though that you really have to ask yourself what am I willing to pay. Condition is going to play a huge part in what any box sells for so you really need to know the complete condition of any box before deciding what to pay.

Just as some rough history I've seen beater 8600's sell for around $50 running up to $400+ for a Like New In The Orginal Box 8600. Keep in mind that ranged over the last 4 years and 2 to 4 years ago boomers where generally selling for more than they are right now.
