I'm curious If I can use a Sharp VZ3000 or 3500 turntable to rca phono into a boombox

I like the idea to not have to flip the record and just use the unit itself through rca into 1 of many boomboxes. Has anyone attempted this?

I don't see why not. You should be able to plug right in to the RCA's of any box with a Phono-In. You shouldn't have to hit Record if the box has a Phono/Line-In input selection. Some boxes don't have a phono pre-amp - some do. Can't hurt to give it a try.
I use my Denon turntable with my boxes pretty often.
