most of you by now know i'm a fan of some of the newer offerings out there today.. I still collect certain older boomers, but when I grabbed a NIB Ihome IP4 for $80 bucks I figured eh how bad can it sound.. actually it sounds pretty freakin good! it certainly isn't for the GX-M10/Kaboom crowd as the bass isn't overpowering.. but it is definitely for the M70 crowd.. and it can get really loud without distortion.. and they are going quite cheap on Epay.. and I wish they had SRS on more boomers as it really livens up the sound a lot.. the 5 band EQ does a excellent job tuning in the perfect balance of bass/mid/treble.. I wouldn't waste my time making a post if it sucked.. all I can say, if you can get one cheap ( I just grabbed another for under $50) then it is definitely worth every penny.. there was a reason these sold originally for $200.. it may look odd and you wouldn't imagine it sounding good just by it's appearance.. but I can honestly say it does!
oh and the coating on it is a bonus as it stands up to bumps and is really easy to clean
and it is quite light and easy to lug around with you.. the remote works great too..
