There are other threads of this nature...but I think this type of thread needs to circulate every now and then as peoples opinions change especially as they acquire new gear!

Me? That's a tough one. You need something sturdy that ain't gonna break down on you. I'm stickin with the Sanyo M9994K. If I could have cassette tapes too I'd probably go with my Sears (I can't remember the model maybe 2194?) as the deck on that little dual box just keeps on working.

Dude I would be burning myself to a cinder trying to shade that VZ from the sun... it HAS to last, you know? Who knows when you're going to be rescued! (if you could call it that, exiting human society with a boombox = heaven for me)
