This will be great to look at once I find a good vz-2500 to display it in. 
This was on ebay, but the price was well above what I was able to pay. The seller was kind enough to give it to me at about 1/3 the BIN price.
So, the point of this post isn't to talk about a metal LP, but rather to say, if you like something offered at a high price, just make an offer anyway. Who knows, you may get lucky.
The downside is, if you make low offers on a ton of boomboxes, you might win them all
