does anyone know how to tap into a Panasonic RX-DT 670
i was reading online that on a RX-DT 690 they tap into the tape left & right inputs
but on this radio some of the wires are not marked on the tape player wires
does anyone have the service manual or that can tell me what wires to use

this is for the rx-dt 690

Not sure if it will properly work, but easiest way is find where leads go to board from tape head. There should be 2 smaller wires and 1 larger one in sheath. The larger is ground and the thin wires are positive left and right ( sometimes white and red sleeve ) good luck

If it's anything like the 680, you can do this:

1) Insert a blank CD-R in the CD player

2) Plug in your MP3 player into the line out

3) Select CD on the Panasonic and press play.

4) Press play on your MP3 player

You will now hear your MP3 player on your Panasonic.

Hi,

just did this mod yesterday.
It is the same way like to do for DT680
I can give you schematics if necessary.

This is an easy way to do it however if you are using an iPod you should use a voltage divider as the output is too loud. From memory I use 900ohm resistors.
