I picked up a sigmatech disco lite. Light issue. Wont blink

Hey guys picked up a disco lite. The lights turn on but do not blink to the beat. Anyone have any idea where I could start to attempt to repair it?

It s a can of worms, need to figure out if it triggers by music level or has its own mic, does it have a switch to turn it on?

Yes it has a switch to turn lights on and off. If I flip switch on they stay lit constant...and if i flip off they are off.

Pull it apart and post some pictures.

There might be a bad connector or solder between the LED board and the board where the output signals are supposed to come from
