I recently compiled and packed up my unopened tape stash to put into storage until we move. Didn't realize I had quite this many... :-O ;-) :-D :

Most of these came from ebay lots and some thrift store finds over the past five years or so...

Nice work jaetee.

I see you still have those JVC Metals, I haven't used the one you sent me yet (btw thank you for that if I haven't already).

Have you used any of the TDK MA 110's yet?

the colorful sony pop? looks funky too :super:

Those came to me all the way from Australia as part of a mixtape gift trade... :-D

Terry - to answer your question about the TDK MA, I'm amazed at how many MA's I've found gently used in thrift shops around here... I have recorded quite a few compilations for casual listening with them and they all sound great. I was leary of using a 110 min cassette, but they've proven flawless and sonically awesome. No problems with the "thin" tape in my boomers, either. (the guys at Tapeheads would be agast! )

That collection of NOS tapes makes up about 1/3 of all of my cassettes....

I used to use those Sony UX Turbos 20 years ago......I liked their slim, rounded case......I was clueless about tapes, and didn't know that had become commonplace.

Hi Jaetee,

That is a load of XLII-S you've got there :w00t:
What is your favourite Chrome workhorse, TDK SA? I also see you've got the 1982 vintage too - they are very expensive on ebay now.

Cheers
