I just made these thinking that I liked they way they looked, but the real thing is silly expensive! I hope this isn't silly and actually useful to someone.

I decided that I would print these on printable see-through plastic. Then I could cut them out and put them on a clear cassette for that boombox that doesn't have a working cassette player and you just want to put something nice in it.

If you want it in a vector file, just let me know how I can send it to you.

I hope someone can use it!

I used the Pioneer logo since that's what was on the cassette photo that I used to draw it. While redrawing that logo I noticed the graphic. Very clever little graphic. I never noticed that it is a tuning fork denoting sound and the Omega symbol denoting the final stop for sound perfection. Pretty cool.

If you'd like anything different on these, just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

That is very cool. I had 2 ReelColors that I opened and recorded on...then I saw what folks were asking for them and I was like :jawdrop:

What about making a "mirror bowl" style that someone could tape over other, less stylish reels? :hmmm: :hmmm: I bet that could sell on Ebay. The look of them spinning is magical.

BassHead, could you point me to a picture of a mirror bowl? I’ll give that a try.

Trasisyorized... lol. That was me too! I love how they look, but WOW, the price. I also noticed that a bunch say they’ve are hand-made. I’m guessing that they are doing what I’m talking about here. Print the graphic and put it in a clear tape. I do t know where to get a good clear tape, but I’ll keep looking. Heck, if the cassette player doesn’t work, I could put a clear cassette tape image on this graphic and you could tape it to the inside of the cassette door.

I had a crack with the Hawk ones they are aluminium plate secured by melted plastic tabs. I used some sticker sheet but had much trouble cutting to shape. Can you die cut the ones you have made?

I haven’t made any yet. I don’t have a printer. I want to get these printed on some clear material and just cut the circle out. I hope it works for you.
