Hi everyone. This is all new to me. I've been lurking here for about a week just to gain some knowledge. I was looking for a cool '80's style boombox for shiats and giggles. A friend of mine was cleaning out a dead relative's attic and said he found one for me. I looked at it and took it. It's a Conion C-100F. I was only looking for something cool looking to put in my living room. It was old and had problems so I started doing a little research and ended opening up a whole can of worms. So, here I am. I have so many questions.

Incidentally, the living room on the set of Two and a Half Men is decorated with a couple of boomboxes and I believe one of them is Conion C100. It may work as a great decoration but it's rather big and might be difficult to place in a room.

Sorry, blu_fuz. It's not for sale. It looks too good and I have too much sweat equtiy into it to part with it. Functions like it's 1984. Too bad I can't seem to post pics other than an avatar. I brought it to a little cookout on Sunday and it was a huge hit. This is fun.

I have a similar 'I had no idea story', like you I wanted one for no real reason, well actually I just wanted something that looked trick and sounded big for not much money, then found out I wouldn't get much change from £200 for most boxes

Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I've posted anything "meaningful" (go ahead - lay it on me), so I thought I'd re-introduce myself to some of the newer members.

I've had a lot going on, between my girlfriend, helping my grnadmother, a new position at work, and a somewhat expensive move. Up until a few weeks ago, my collection was wrapped and boxed since the end of June, although I would dig one out every now and then because I was compelled to blast.

Things are starting to settle down a bit and the weather is cooling off, so it's time for me to start participating again. I've been posting on the Facebook page every now and then, but I've always considered the forum the "Meat & Potatoes."

Here's a pic I posted on the FB page a couple of weeks ago. I have a spare room, so, of course, it needed a Blaster Wall.



I'm looking forward to getting back into mods, repairs, restos, paint jobs, and general ridiculousness.
