:breakdance:
Like the title says I finally got the M70
That was totally unexpected catch.
Yesterday I went with my brother in one of the several stores which sells an old audio gear and second hand TV's in my town to check if we can find some top shelf speakers for his new amplifier, and BOOM :-O :w00t: :smooch: , on one of the bottom shelves was placed the M70. I loss the breath for a couple of moments ....
It took me some time to recovering from the shock.
I immediately grabbed it and believe me I started to look around me to see is there anyone who wants to take "my" booombox before me :dunce: :ninja:
After the initial visual inspection, I saw that it is very dirty, that nothing is missing and that there are very few traces of use. I wondered whether it works at all? :hmmm:
I asked the seller if we can turn on the "radio" for checking it if it works or not... and yes... everything was works, absolutely everything. :smooch:
Then I asked the seller for the price and that was a second BOOM moment :w00t: he ask 50 euros for the box :w00t: :w00t:
I managed to stay calm in front of him and I offered 40 euros :-) He immediately accepted the offer :w00t:
and that is it, I came home whit my new baby and I spent the all afternoon in front of him, checking all the functions, listening some music etc.
His appearance is impressive and the sound is incredible and now I know what you guys meant when i was reading your posts all of the years back about the sound quality and looking of the M70 in live.
Only volume sliders is crackling but i think that the deoxit will eliminate this issue.
Now still need to clean it well, but I'll leave it that for next weekend.
Here is some pics of it:

That's a really great catch! I would probably never say the M70 was my favorite boombox and still it's the one I've got with me most of the time  You should definitely get yourself a strap!

Congrats on that wonderful find.
The M-70 is one that no collection should be without.
Looks like yours is in great shape too.
The deck on it is probably one of the nicer decks you will ever
