Yep I found my first Sharp QT-50 at the Thrift today and I don't care what color it is I like it. This one happens to be yellow and appears to be slightly faded but not bad at all and it works including the cassette deck.

There is a pink one of those at a vintage store just blocks from me. Its in pretty rough condition and has an $85 price tag. I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.

Do a bunch of crack heads run that shop?

My thrift only charged me $3, they probably thought who in the he!! will want this 80's kiddie toy. I hope they think like this more often but you won't see me walking the streets with this one on my shoulder. :nonono:

The only thing sissy about that box is that it has the same number of lines in it as my grandmother has in her neck. Otherwise, it's a solid, rugged little box that's difficult to break and that you can take with you anywhere without needing a forklift to pick up. Plus, you can get one to match any shirt you're wearing. (OK, well maybe that is just a little bit sissy. BUT NOT MUCH!)

(The orange/peach color boxes are actually pink. Damned incandescent light!)

Thats a great example of '80s design. They just decided to put some fashion into it is all.I remember wanting one back when they came out but thinking they were aimed at a female market. Now I don't care if it looks good.If I saw one green/blue in good condition,I'd snatch it for sure!
