Wow, you really "stole" some nice boomboxes there glue. I was watching that Sony but $250 USD for shipping was just too heavy. That Panny 5600 was an exceptionally nice acquisition. Hard to find, and very nice too. With prices like these, you should really stock up!

Oh, I only bidded on the Sony... already have an SK-550, but the Panasonic was VERY tempting... it was a push to justify the Sony when I'm supposed to be buying xmas presents for others, but eh, you gotta spoil yourself.

I hope the Pioneer and Panasonic both found good and appreciative homes.

A Fisher 480 went for $129 too.

Strange action indeed this evening.

Those are amazing prices for some dyn-o-mite boxes! The Panny 5600 is one of my all-time favorites. Nothing wrong in this season of giving with giving a little to yourself. Brightens the whole holiday! Congratulations! Your Chritsmas has started early. :-D

I already have the National and the Pioneer as well but it was hard to watch them slip by at that price for me too Rick !

glue i think you will be quite pleased with the way that sony sounds.
i know mine dropped my jaw when i heard mine.
make sure you listen to it without the sat button pushed first then hit that button midsong :-D
