Hi,I was wandering over to an abandoned house that's been vacant
for over 5 years and I thought I'd check it out.
Just some old abandoned clothes I'n the closets and sn old couch
and some garbage.
The roof was starting to leak and the garage had big holes I'n the roof.
After looking around and checking out the junk I'n the garage which was all
water damaged for the most part.
Under some cardboard there was a Pioneer cassette car stereo
that was quite rusty but was intact with a removable face plate.
This model had 35 watts by 4. and had all the wiring & harness.
I took it with me thinking no way, just junk-but Pioneer. :hmmm:
So after some cleaning and stripping back a little insulation on the
leads and hooking it up to my spare car battery-it works!! :-O

Man I was I'n shock!!'n :-O  :w00t:
Even the cassette works!!!
Just goes to show you Pioneer quality.
I have this cleaned it up really good now and all the lights work to!
Photos soon!!
I still can't believe it a working car stereo from a haunted house garage
with bad leaks!! :-)

Here in Venezuela, in he 80's, the BEST car stereo you could have was a Pioneer KP-9000... PERIOD!
I'm still looking for one of them by the way... So, Ghettoboom767, if this one you found is KP-9000, and you're interested? :smooch:
