Hmm. Not that familiar with that model. I thought it was just an ipod cable. But if something is missing, I presume you'll need it. But good news is that all these kabooms have a 1/8" line-in phono jack which is all good.

i got three kabooms.
two original ones and a charcoal silver one like the one you got.
the wireless transmitter with it is more of a gimmick than anything else. a transmitter for your ipod.
i seem to remember mine being able to play mp3 cds allthough in this day and age thats a pretty obsolete thing lol.
the kaboom is a modern classic.
its had a very long production run.
you got one of the good ones.
if someone is looking for one they should drop me a line.
i might be up for trading one of them for something cool.

thanks members-i wished i knew what kind of transmitter i needed/anyone know?

that unit is supposed to include a jvc branded wireless fm transmitter. its really not all that cool. i have mine still but i dont use it at all the range on it is not good enough.
i bought a c crane fm transmitter and tweaked it.
there is two little pockets that slip over the strap for this boombox. one is to hold the remote and the other is made for the ipod and fm transmitter.
all it is is a fm transmitter.
you are better off just burning a mp3 disc of the songs you wanna play. i mean you can fit a large number of songs on one disc. it sounds better
or just run a line out of your ipod into the kaboom.

Norm the NB20 has the Ipod control and connection, the 10 just had the transmitter I think. :hmmm:

I think you did good on that one GB4L.

Well, I got the NB1 so all I got is Mp3 CD player. But ipod works good using standard 1/8" phono jack. I always thought the newer ones had iPod control too but I guess I was wrong. Now I know to look for the NB-20 since the new 50 is apparently crappola.
