HELLO FROM BERKELEY CA. I HAD A SHARP WQ-T282 THAT I USED WHILE WORKING AND LOCKED IN THE TOOLBOX ON MY TRUCK. NO PROBLEM RIGHT? WRONG THEY STOLE THE TRUCK AND WHEN THEY COULDNT GET THE LOCKBOXES TO OPEN THEY TORCHED IT. ON THE INSURANCE CLAIM I PUT DOWN $ 600.00 FOR "SOUND SYSTEM" . THE TRUCK ONLY HAD THE STOCK STEREO, BUT THEY PAID.

TRYING TO FIND ITS REPLACEMENT HAS PROVEN HARD. I GOT A SONY CD RADIO CASSETTE-CORDER(XPLOD CFD-G505). ITS HUGE AND HEAVY (ESPECIALLY WITH BATTS IN), PLUS IT HAS SET EQ POSITIONS UNLIKE MY "OLD" SHARP WHICH HAS AN ADJUSTABLE EQ.

MY NAME IS JIM ON THIS FORUM I AM QIUTYJ. I AM NEW TO THIS SITE BUT HAVE OWNED AT LEAST 16 BOXES SINCE I TURNED 16. SOMETIMES I WOULD HAVE 2 OR 3 FOR SPECIFIC USES- BIG AND LOUD FOR OUTSIDE SMALLER FOR WHEN I HAD A 1 CAR GARAGE AND A MID SIZE FOR IN THE HOUSE.

SO I AM THE NEW GUY, NAMECALL, POKE FUN AND GIVE ME A HARD TIME. LETS GET THAT PART OVER WITH.
ps i had one of those record players in my 55 chevy it played records upside down. then 8 tracks came out and i had 2 or 3 of them in my cars. call me old fashined but i dont like the way digital music sounds. cds are ok but i will take records or tapes over cds anytime. not 8 tracks they kinda sound warpy.
