how rare is the sharp gf-919 japanese model of the gf777

hello how rare are these gf-919 boomboxes?

When you compare them to the ubiquitous GF-777, they are definitely rarer (at least in the States). Very few of the GF-919s ever made it to the States, but eBay has definitely helped with that.

A few members here have the GF-919.

well to me if thats the one with japanese lettering than it was only to be a pure japanese box but since we get these all the time though ebay its always good to have a unique box in our collection

johnny the sharp boxes mostly are the same with exception of some cosmetic changes but the heart of those boxes are the same

Hi Ramon-Except the 999 & the 1000 have a digital Echo control and the 1000 has more music search numbers!
Also the 1000 has a mid-brace inside the box!!
So the 1000 is the bomb!!

yes thats what i was mentioning cosmetics mainly simple changes but the radio the decks and the amps and speakers are the same oh and basicly the case to especialy the back

Basically ira i have to many boxes to choose from and That it is verry good sounding i have the wx1 on now and the gf1000 is as good if not better but there both great boxes lad.
