Hi,
Recently I bought a serviced Sharp GF-515 for about $115 from a guy who did not want it anymore. I am confused about how many speakers it has, because the BoomboxWiki indicates that the tweeters mounted in front of the woofers are fake, and the real ones are in the rectangular horns on each side of the box, while I discover that mine, probably an Asian version, does not have anything behind the horns and there is no sound coming out of it. However, the treble of my box is really good, much better than my Panasonic RX-4940, which only has 2 speakers. So I suspect that the tweeters in front of the woofers are real, and the horns are fake.
Can anyone who has disassembled the same model answer the question? I appreciate your help!
(BTW: Some details of my model are different from those of the one pictured on BoomboxWiki, for instance, the back panel is dark gray, instead of light gray. And the English seems weird on the Dangerous Voltage Warning sticker and the battery warning sticker, and there is some arabian on the bottom left of my model printed on a sticker.)
