The touch panel buttons on that one were in good nick! Usually they're one of the first things to deteriorate on them.

Haven't heard one In person but, from what I gather, they get real loud

I have one . And they sound really loud !!! I will go as far to say its as loud as a Sony fh215r but without as much bass and that's extremely loud. Mines seen better days in fact I blew the foams out of it last time I was showing it off. Seriously tho a cool box. Mines also got the murdered rubber panel but I don't think it's impossible to fix those. Just push buttons underneath. I think they have some kind of kit for repairing those in electronics stores. My handle is also epoxied together as well.
Oh and mine needs a belt . I gotta get it up and running. You know this box is amazing and when you hit the disco button it will floor you
