how do i shrink my pics to fit on here

im new can anyone please tell me how to shrink my pic for my avitar so it will fit?thanks

First off welcome aboard!!!!!
I use http://www.photobucket.com for all my image posting needs.
You can upload images from your computer to their site and easily edit/resize them there.
You can join up for free and all you need is a valid email address
