While browsing cricinfo.com I cam across a very cool banner ad. It was from the ANZ bank and involved some old school 16 bit style video game graphics of a guy sitting infront of his PC. He produces an oversized ANZ debit card out of his pocket and then out the back of the PC pops a classic style boombox and then he starts dancing. I thought this was a killer ad! But I couldn't work out how to save it, I was going to get screen grabs, but then I thought I'd email the bank and see if they could hook me up. They sent me the image below and thanked me for liking this 'creative'.
I think it's the first time I've seen a banner ad that really felt like it was being marketed towards me!
Really nicely drawn CG radio too, some real effort went into it to get it looking authentic too.. unlike a lot of interpretations you see around.
It's on a lot of big .au websites, so the .au contingent may see it in their websurfing travels.
