ANOTHER DUMP FIND. I THINK THIS HAD SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN A GREASY ENVIRONMENT BECAUSE IT WAS COVERED WITH IT. THE SPEAKERS WERE SOAKED AS WELL. I HAD TO REPLACED SPEAKERS. THE ORIGINALS WERE 2.8 OHM 5 WATT. I'VE PUT IN 4 OHM 4 WATT. THIS HAS MADE THE SOUND OUTPUT MORE RESPONSIVE AND CRYSTAL CLEAR

I was about to say that, the grease has actually preserved the body. Like the preservation done for machinery with grease.

Nice find. How did you persuade the recyclers to let you have it? Mine think you're stealing the crown jewels if you look in a bin!

DPaignall. i got this one when i worked at the dump. but i do buy from another dump a few miles away. there happy with a few quid bunged in there hand and i end up with nice gear that needs a bit of tinkering with
