Hitachi TRK 8600 - But what subtype?

Hello!
I've found this photo on instagram:

As you can see on the image it looks like normal 8600 from Hitachi but:
- It has a DRPS music search like PERDISCO machines
- Dolby System is not present, see 2 diodes for "FM Stereo" and "Operation" on tuner scale
- Have microphone input with regulation potentiometer, again stuff from PERDISCO
- Led VU meter, the scale of it is similiar to the TRK-8190 model
- I see that there are two RCA inputs, PERDISCO

What do you think about this hybrid? I've searched for it on the internet but still no positive results yet.

That’s not an 8600 but a TRK-8610.

Members Superduper & Geoff Hartwell have this model.

Strange that it did not pop up when I was browsing google images. I see that this model is more rare than the regular 8600 which very hard to find here in Poland.

I always thought that the 8600 lacks some of the features. And this feeling is more noticeable when you open it - lots of space that can be arranged .
Maybe I will get one in the future.
