Hi Gents,

A quick one for you; these spring clips are a real buzzard to remove, as they keep the handles in place. One side of the handle has broken off, but I am trying to release the clip. Any ideas?

I would be grateful for a solution as I've tried to remove it and look like I would do more harm than good.

The top part of that clip acts as an anchor. You need to carefully pry it away from the pastic part of the box with a blade screwdriver or the like. then push up from the bottom of the clip simultaneously.

Thanks for the reply.

Carefully is right, I am trying to make sure that my hand does not go flying into anything whilst it is holding a flat blade. Hitachi have made this clip not to be removed.
