So I like to share with you all the songs that I put on my first homemade cassette-mixtape two years ago or so.
I have made six of these now, all with different eras/themes. If you like this one I got plenty more coming  . When playing this list, wear preferably a Kangol, a fat gold chain, Adidas and a big-ass radio  .
Chances are there are some songs here you've never heard before, but if you have got 'em all, I am your humble servant and I invite you to add suggestions to this playlist.

In no particular order:

1. Just say stet - Stetasonic
2. Shout - MC Craig G
3. Living in the world of Hip Hop - MC Shan
4. Top Billin' - Audio Two
5. Rock the bells - LL Cool J
6. Hello Brooklyn (from B-Boy bouillabaisse) - Beastie Boys
7. The Run-D.M.C. old school megamix - Run-D.M.C. (youtube it)
8. I'm fly - Kool G Rap
9. I don't like Rock 'n Roll - Schoolly D
10. Blend dom - Latin Kings (Swedish rap)
11. Return of the Boom Bap - KRS-ONE
12. I can't live without my radio - LL Cool J
13. Hardcore Hip Hop - Mantronix
14. I like it loud - Jewel T
15. Mama said knock you out - LL Cool J
16. Turbo Charged - Just-Ice
17. The terminator - Mr spice
18. Kickin' 4 Brooklyn - MC Lyte
19. Take your radio - Steady B

Let me know what you think

Peace

Same boat, not heard a lot of em was kinda before my era...but very intrigued, gonna check out a few of them now. My first mixtape consisted of wu, Mobb deep, and classics from KRS, Eric B and Rakim and other US East coast stuff, with some Souls of Mischief, Dilated People's etc for the west. Really miss the whole tape thing since everything went digital, confess that although I've remained loyal to vinyl I kinda dropped tapes...but can't wait to get messing with them again :) Peace
