Update: I went with a good blaster at my side - the Victor 550 - and like many things in life, it was good and not-so-good.

Good: I learned how hip-hop culture is positively influencing education in the 21st century through many projects such as http://streetsmartpress.com and Sneakerology 101

Not-so-good: The event was a projected screening of a previously recorded event (in NYC?) - none of the original presenters were there. I was cool with that, but when I left the theater and entered a gallery carrying my silent 550, I was asked to leave the 550 at the front desk otherwise I couldn't stay in the gallery. Rather than leave my blaster, I left the gallery blasting The Message.

If I find the Hip-hop Logic video stream online I will update this thread with it.

Go!

What?!? They wouldn't even let you walk through with it turned off???

That just doesn't make sense. Good choice for a walkout tune.

LEAVE MY $1000 RADIO????

:annoyed: PASS! :annoyed:

So, let me get this straight, an event, celebrating Hip Hop, they wouldn't let you walk around with a Boombox (turned off).

Wow, they are some really knowledgeable people running that event

LAME!
