I've joined today. I have an immaculate Sharp GF-6000. Sounds better than all my modern digital units. Heavy though. They sure don't make them like this any more.

The Sharp GF-600 is a massive mono unit, with high output. Great sound. The one I have looks like it just came out of the factory and works perfectly.
Here's a link to a pic. This isn't my unit but its the same model.

Yes remote mic with unit. Very high quality too as are the recordings. The unit has a proper equalisation circuit.

Sound is superb. High power too. It totally wipes the floor with all of my modern stuff. Everything about the unit oozes quality.
Its a BIG machine and very heavy. Even has program search on cassette.
