Hello Everyone - I’m Joe and I’m new to the website. I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida now but I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I’m in my mid-50’s now, and am interested in restoring my JVC-M90, which we (my brothers and I) bought new when it first came out. I’m not interested in selling it, but it needs a lot of TLC. I’m not sure if I can do it myself (I’ve never done electronics restoration before, and I’m not sure this is where I should attempt to start) or need a professional restoration. Any help/ideas that anyone can offer would really be appreciated! Thanks, and Hello to everyone again! - Joe.

Welcome to the forum. Yeah it’s good that you’re going to study on such a bad radio as the M90. It is necessary to start somewhere.
I’m kidding a little, but I sincerely hope you succeed.

Thanks! Although I’d like to think that I could succeed, trying to start on that would be like learning how to fix cars by starting to work on a Mercedes!
