just discovered this forum and I'm glad I did.
I'm a hifi enthusiast, been collecting, testing, listening to hifi gear for 4 decades now,
and, recently, I have thought to begin re-collecting boomboxes and vintage gear like walkmans and stuff (although I've grown up with them).
I guess it's called "nostalgia"
I'm also getting my feet wet into the world of electronics, meaning that I do minor repairs/adjustments/upgrades to all my hifi gear,
I have some experience working with PCBs, soldering, and things like that.
Anyways, I'm glad I've found this forum as I might get and give some advice during this "back in the boombox era" journey.
