g'day, just found this site.

im male, 41 and recently ive taken an interest in retro boomboxes!

i dont have anything at the moment but ive taken a bit of an interest in the marantz models.

i bought a panasonic RX-F35 when i was 13 back in 1983 & it served me very well for years until i sold it for some crappy dual cassette sharp thing & ive regretted it ever since. hopefully i will find another one day.

anyway, i will be lurking around, so hi to everyone out there :thumbsup:

Welcome Andy, if your getting the bug this is the place to be for warped therapy. :-D

The RX-F35 would have been a good box to have and if your like most of us you'll find get another one someday, we all have a thing for those boxes we grew up with. :yes:

this place is awesome, i already had one of my 'grail' boxes pretty much sorted (ph-32), but in the space of a few hours the other 2 I want have been found!

unfortunately i cant afford to have all three but im stoked i might end up with 2 of em!

yes it does, but my collection will definately stop at 3 :-D

the marantz, a black akai PJ33 :drool: and it looks like im getting the RX-F35!

more than i can afford at the moment but the PJ & RX are huge personal grails for me.
