Hi from the UK & my small collection of Brixton Briefcases!

Hi all! New member but had a few old boomboxes for a while now, currently listening to a Philips D8134 that I just got off a neighbour having a clearout! I've also got a battered by great sounding Sharp GF-9090, a Hitachi '3D Super Woofer' 'box, and somewhere a Sanyo single-speaker mini- Brixton Briefcase. The Sharp chews tapes, not tried a tape in the Philips yet but suspect that's a chewer too - might pluck up the courage to try fixing them fully!

Looking forward to exploring the site and seeing what other boomboxes are out there - though I may not be able to expand my collection much due to space constraints - and wife constraints!

Welcome! The 9090 is not too difficult to fix, mine had the problem until I fixed it using the info held within this marvellous forum! Good luck with it!
