Hi All

Spotted your forum after looking up old beatboxes from the 80's on ebay....
I have , bizarrely , the strange idea i might find a working version of a sharp gf 9797 i used to own as a lucky kid of 15.
It was **** hot , digital tuner, metal tape, super sounding bass end speakers.

It got trucked to school for use in the lunchtime, and was much appreciated in my youth.
When i was in my band , i went to gigs to and rehearsals.

Sadly after being dropped, chucked in the back of a van and generally not well looked after, it finally bit the dust.

But here i am . i dont watch much tv, i read stuff on the net.
I also collect old synthesizers and play guitar badly.

I look forward to your company!

Welcome, Steviox!

There's nothing like getting your childhood box. I just got mine a few months ago and am still like this:

It's a fun clan!

Hello, the 9797 is a fantastic boombox, and some say that it had one of the first digital tuners, its very simular to the 8989,but the 9797 are quite rare compared.
