Welcome, rickyt! Which ironically a name I've gone by in my younger days!

I'm sure someone here will be able to help you out with info about your Philips, especially our resident Philips expert Vienna Sound.

Looking forward to seeing your photos of her too!

Rock On.

Generally answers are very difficoult. :hmmm:
Also belongs what country you are living.

Those machines were made in austria, so they appear quite often here.

Also take a look on ebay.
Prices are different, belongs also to the condition.
From 30 - 150euros i have seen them. :hmmm:

Best look on finding a good conditioned one

Have one in my storage, but with burned amp. :-/
Try a repair next time.
Then it would be avaiable.

Also have a pair of speakers left, if you find only the body

or another member has one for sale? :-)

btw: the type number is PHILIPS D8734

the 80s very very special to me the good old breakdance days my first blaster may interest those on this site but i hated it .i had an amstrad it was huge it had a pull down record deck and twin tapes on top i did not like it because the tape lids used to flap in the wind and the huge mass of large batteries it used to take that lasted about 10 mins do you know whitch model im talking about???????? any way was on way to youth club to practice and i was swinging it to the music when the handle broke and it flew to the ground and what i can only discribe as exploded i was distrort my dad was going to kill me ......... he was so mad said i couldnt look after nowt . he was probly right i saved and saved till i had enogh to buy the sound machien off my cousin!! first song i ever played on it was chaka chan i feel for you .....the sound was amazing and it turned heads where ever i took it . i wish i had more photos of both the blaster nd my dancin just memories now !
